Baby Naming Ceremony
Welcoming your new baby into the world can include so many important rituals and events, including a baby naming ceremony. This can really look like whatever you want it to be, and we can craft that together, but if you’d like to take some time to gift your child with their new name in a non-religious way, I would be honoured to be a part of that.
Name Affirmation
‘May your child’s name be a gift they can return if it no longer fits them’. This ceremony is particularly for trans and gender diverse people looking to affirm their new name in a ritualistic manner. We can light candles, gather with those closest to you or extended circles, the ceremony can be carried out similarly to a baby naming or in a completely unique and different way as a means of marking change and transition. As someone who has been through my own name change, I would love to facilitate this in a way that feels authentic and special.
Gender Reveal Parties (The Good Kind)
Let’s reclaim gender reveal parties! Are you trans or gender diverse and ready to tell your friends and family? Would you like a little help with your coming-out? Or would you like to host a big party to celebrate this evolution within your life? I would LOVE to help you plan it! We can appropriate mainstream gender reveal conventions and re-invent them, or we can create our own unique and exciting ideas! Want to pop a giant balloon that has different coloured powder inside? Or slice a cake to reveal rainbow layers? You deserve to celebrate your gender identity and to be celebrated for it. This is a service I will offer at a heavily discounted rate (because I genuinely just want to do these so badly).
